OUR STORY
We are a team of students from the University of Zagreb, Croatia, dedicated to conceptualizing, designing, and constructing single-seater race cars.
Our purpose is to compete in European Formula Student competitions, where the main focus isn’t lap times, but innovation, clever design and technology.

OUR HISTORY
The FSB Racing Team, a student initiative under the Croatian Student Association of Engineering Faculties, was established in 2003 at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. Their core mission is to design, develop, and manufacture formula-style single-seater race cars for participation in Formula Student competitions. Currently, it stands as one of Croatia's most significant student projects, boasting a membership of over 100 students.
Over the past two decades, the team has successfully built 12 race cars and competed in numerous annual Formula Student events across Europe. Each car represents a substantial undertaking, involving a rigorous process from initial conceptualization to the successful manufacturing and assembly of every subsystem and the final vehicle. Students are responsible for the design, development, and in some cases, even the manufacturing of each component.
The collective knowledge, effort, time, and dedication of every team member drive a shared goal: to complete each project and get the car on the track. Along the way, they compete against teams across Europe, represent the University of Zagreb, and gain experience that goes far beyond the classroom.
OUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENTS
We’ve participated in numerous Formula Student events across Europe.
Among our proudest moments is a 10th-place finish out of 97 teams at Silverstone, one of the most competitive events in the series. In 2018, we repeated that success with StrixR, earning 12th place at the same competition.
And of course, our most significant achievement came in 2024, when we secured 1st place at the Formula Student competition in Poland, our best result to date.
